Gippsland Champions Trophy Invitational Tournament 2007

The Baw Baw Hockey Club and the West Gippsland Hockey Association warmly invite you to take part in the third annual Gippsland Champions Trophy Invitational Tournament.

What: A Round Robin Hockey Tournament to showcase the Champion Teams in Gippsland. The weekend will consist of round robin games and 1 final for each section. Game duration will be 2 X 20 minute halves with a 5 minute half time.

Who: Any teams who played in finals (semi’s or grand final) are eligible to enter. Association rep teams for each age section will also be accepted. Our aim this year is to have at least 2 teams from each association in each section (U13’s mixed U15’s mixed, U18 boys and girls, Womens & Mens.

East Gippsland

Sections: U13 (mixed), U15 (mixed), U18 boys, U18 girls (Gwen Mulconry Cup), Mens, Womens

When: 10:00am-4:00pm Saturday & Sunday the 13^th and 14^th of October

Where: Bellbird Park Hockey Grounds Drouin.

Cost: $80 per junior team. $150 per senior team.

Prizemoney: Prize money of $200 will be awarded to the winning Mens and Womens Team.

Additional Information:

Each team to provide one umpire who will be rostered over the weekend.

Umpires can be arranged to cover a teams weekend umpiring duty for a cost of: $40 juniors, $60 seniors.
Canteen open for duration of event serving a wide range of hot and cold food and drinks.
Accommodation and restaurant discount deals from local motels offered to all visiting teams.

Teams must enter under their own local club or association name so their existing insurance will cover each region’s team.
Team entries and payment must be received by Friday 14^th September or an additional late payment of $50 will be charged per team.
Trophy presentations for each section will be made at the conclusion of each Final.
