Warriors 1 def Drouids

A hard fought fast game between two undermanned teams.  Neither team could exert their dominance in the game with the ball moving from end to end with only a few opportunities to score.  Dan Wiglesworth was welcomed back after a week off and showed good form in the midfield along with Dion Beasley, Gav Carpenter and Chris Garden.  With the score nil all at half time both teams started the 2nd half a little tired and continued to fight, with Alister Wright and Paul Pearson strong in defence.  The only goal of the game, by the Warriors, came in the 60th minute and with a few near misses by the Drouids in the dying minutes the scored remained at 1–0.  Well done to both teams.
