Daniel Greenall and Sam Phillips were quiet in goals. Isabella Donders confidence was evident as she made some tackling moves. Thanks to Stewart Bedford and Olivia Donders for playing up to help the team.

Drouids 6 def Warriors 0
Warriors were up against it from the start with a strong Drouids attack but, despite the one sided score-line, played very good defensive hockey. Warriors relative newcomer, Karla-Lee Hudgell, played an excellent game, using her good speed to advantage as she surprised many a Drouid player. Young Lachlan Tress was easily best on ground as he tenaciously intercepted numerous Drouid balls in the back line & cleared them from the goal area.

Drouids 3 def 2
Drouids players had to run hard at times for ball control. Players Luke, Dean, Dylan, Sam and Michael consistently passed the ball forward between players to achieve some good goals, while other players Claire, Aaron, Leah Georgie were often able to return the ball back to our advantage. The team had excellent help today from several U 15 players. It was great to have them play on the field and in goal keeping for U17’s
Aztecs 4 def Gulls 0
Gulls were undermanned this week and all players had to run hard the whole game. Ashley, Kiarn and Evan put in a big effort and Ryan was unlucky not to score on the second half. Melinda Kemp played her wing with confidence and Kelsi was effective when she came on. A flowing game, but Aztecs proved too strong up the middle. Congratulations to all players for putting in.

Gulls Green 1 drew Aztecs 1
What a great game with everyone defending and attacking with great skill. Deanne Smith was ready for the ball each time and stopped a few possible goals by Aztecs. Cathy Gower ran her heart out on the wing using skill and Bronwyn Wallace did a fantastic job manning up on her player. Laura Court playing her final game for the season did a great job defending as full back clearing many balls. We all wish Laura and Bernice all the best and safe wishes while travelling.
Drouids 2 def Gulls Gold 1
Drouids played a smooth game, beating Gulls Gold by 1 goal. Telese Lane, wing, worked well with Nicki Cann and Eleanor Weber on the right. Goalie Heather Fleming, hit the dirt to save a beauty.
