February 8th, 2010 More heavy equipment has arrived, including a grader and large rotary hoe for mixing in the lime to make a hard base. It smells like fresh concrete at Bellbird Park now... February 9th, 2010 Even more heavy equipment has arrived... The ground is looking very flat and hard now. The roller and water cart were working on the eastern side today when I took these pictures. February 10th, 2010 The ground now looks to be fully rolled down. There is now a trench around 3 side of the field as well. February 11th, 2010 Rain!!! However the work went on. There is now small piles of gravel scattered about the field. Also some small square bales of straw in black plastic. It looks like some drainage works have taken place in the trenches dug yesterday. February 12th, 2010 More work on the drainage system was done today, so pictures don't show a lot of difference to yesterday as it is all underground :) email John Alexander with any comments or suggestions. |
