February 18th, 2010 These are some photos of the pavilion being upgraded. There are now blinds around the covered area to stop the wind and rain. These are clear allowing spectators to still see outside. The softball cage has been removed, The concrete footings will be removed shortly. The toilets and showers on both sides have been stripped out ready to be refurbished. The softball cage has been reused to make a storage shed around the back. Extra fencing has been installed also. The Shire has also trimmed the trees along the south east corner of the fields to make it safer playing along the edge of the sideline, without being hit by a branch. The concrete around around the base of the softball cage is removed. New lights installed into the roof of the pavilion, it won't be dark anymore! email John Alexander with any comments or suggestions. |
