The West Gippsland Hockey Association Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on November 4th 2026, at the Bellbird Park Pavilion from 7:00 pm.
Timeline
- Issue call for nominations for President and Treasurer on Wednesday, 16th of September 2026.
- The official AGM notice, including the meeting agenda, will be provided by Sunday, October 11th, 2026.
- Board nominations close at 6 pm, Sunday 1st of November, 2026.The
- AGM agenda will be updated with the President and Treasurer nominees and the Treasurer's financial documents on Sunday 1st of November 2026, and communicated to members.

WGHA Board Opportunities
West Gippsland Hockey Association is seeking nominations and expressions of interest for upcoming Board roles. Nominations are invited for the following elected Director positions at the WGHA.
President - two-year term, concluding at the 2028 AGM.
Treasurer - two-year term, concluding at the 2028 AGM.
Eligible members may nominate for either position using the WGHA nomination process. If more than one valid nomination is received for a position, the election will be decided by eligible members at the AGM. If one valid nomination is received, that nominee must still be approved by a majority of eligible members present and voting at the AGM.
Vice-President and Secretary opportunities: the current Vice-President and Secretary have advised they intend to step down at the conclusion of the 2026 AGM. WGHA will invite expressions of interest from suitably qualified people for the anticipated casual vacancies of:
- Vice-President - appointment until the conclusion of the 2027 AGM.
- Secretary - appointment until the conclusion of the 2027 AGM.
These two positions are not being elected at the 2026 AGM. Under the WGHA Constitution, a casual vacancy may be filled by the remaining Directors from among appropriately qualified people, for the balance of the existing term. The Vice-President and Secretary positions will next be open for member election at the 2027 AGM.
