WGHA's Regional Coach Development #3 for 2026 is a practical event for any prospective and active coaches in the association! On the night, Hockey Victoria's Gippsland Regional Zone Coach Developer, Ed de Salis, will be coaching a training session for the Strikers players.

Through this, coaches are invited to come along and observe the training session, to view coaching techniques, drill types and the player management controls that Ed uses as a High Performance coach.

Ed is a current High Performance coach for Hockey Victoria, with experience in HV State teams, North West Tigers JSC teams, Vic League Head Coaching roles and numerous other coaching opportunities, and is looking forward to sharing some of his tips and tricks with West Gippsland's coaches.

Following the practical component, coaches will advance into the clubrooms to participate in an open discussion about what they viewed on the pitch, and how these techniques can be applied to week-to-week coaching.

This event is free of charge, with all coaches in the region highly encouraged to attend.
