The Victorian Government has announced that Get Active Sports Vouchers will be available from October 15th!
Families across Victoria are being encouraged to take advantage of the Get Active Kids Voucher Program, which helps make community sport more affordable.
The program provides eligible families with a voucher of up to $200 to help cover the cost of their child’s sporting activities. The voucher can be used for club memberships, registration fees, uniforms, and essential equipment.
Who can apply?
To be eligible, children must:
- Be aged 0 to 18 years
- Be named on a valid Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, or live in care (including foster care)
- Be enrolled in a Victorian school or live in Victoria
Each child can receive one voucher per round, and families with multiple children are encouraged to apply for each eligible child.
How to use the voucher
Families apply online for the voucher, then redeem it directly with a registered Get Active Kids Activity Provider—the *club name* is a registered provider! This means families don’t have to pay upfront and wait for reimbursement; the voucher is applied straight to their child’s sporting costs. You may also be eligible to claim a reimbursement for fees already paid!
How to apply
Information, full eligibility criteria and applications can be found through the Victorian Government’s Get Active Victoria website. Families are encouraged to apply early to avoid missing out.
