We're launching a Women and Girls Sub-Committee to help guide the organisation's strategic direction, ensure the voices of women and girls is heard, and provide recommendations and opportunities to the WGHA leadership.

The Women and Girls Participation Sub-Committee exists to increasing opportunities, participation, and leadership for women and girls across all areas of hockey. Guided by a vision of creating an inclusive, respectful, and equitable sporting environment, the sub-committee will work to grow female participation as players, coaches, officials, volunteers, and leaders while supporting the development of representative and junior pathways. The group will meet on a semi-regular basis, provide reports and recommendations to the WGHA Board, and include representatives from across the association, including junior players where practicable. the subcommittee's structure and roles will remain flexible to ensure the sub-committee can respond effectively to the needs of the hockey community.
