In 2026 we're providing more support to the Strikers program, to create better pathways and provide the best opportunity for players.
In 2026, Strikers coaches will be recieve an Honourarium payment for the season. To reflect the investment made by the WGHA, we're expecting coaches to be planned and prepared with lesson plans, actively seek out opportunities to grow their coaching skill set, and work hard to create a welcoming environment, focussed on fair play, community involvement, respect for officials, opposition and teammates, safety and growth for every player, both on and off the field.
